Mercedes W124 models with air conditioning had a foam sealing strip mounted on the front of the bonnet. This sealing strip directs the incoming air into the radiator.
Over the years, this foam sealing becomes porous and disintegrates. Unfortunately, Mercedes no longer supplies this part.
