During a “major” air conditioning overhaul, the dryer should also be replaced, as it can become clogged over the years.

For later SL models with chassis numbers starting with F140422, inexpensive dryers are also available on the aftermarket. Unfortunately, these cannot be installed together with temperature sensor A2108300072. We offer a dryer that replaces the OE number A1298300283. This is equipped with the correct connector for the temperature sensor – see image.
